My current employer has paid me three times now with a check from the company without any explanation of the deductions or the total number of hours worked. I have been keeping track of my hours lately because of the first 2 times and I know what my deductions should be for this check. When I did a Payroll Calculator with the payroll company we use I got a rough estimate of what my check should be. When I got my check, it came up over $100.00 short from the estimate I did. When I asked if they could give me a copy of my check stub, they said “they (ADP small business) do not send copies of what you need. What he told me is that we could give you a copy of the report. The report should show what you need, but it has everyone else’s info also. I will have to black out everyone else and your info will show in a box.” Is that right? I feel like I’m being ripped off by the company and they are covering it up or hiding something.
